Puppy Pre-School: For Puppies Under 4 Months Old - 7 weeks long
This class is designed specifically for puppies from 8 weeks to 16 weeks old. It is critical to socialize your pup to a wide variety of strangers, and other dogs before 16 weeks old. Well socialized puppies are wonderful, confident companions, whereas puppies that miss this developmental period can be fearful, difficult and sometimes dangerous. This class focuses on socialization of puppies in an off-leash environment while teaching the fundamental skills of dog obedience. All dogs participating in class must be between the ages of 8 weeks and 16 weeks. Dogs should be current on vaccinations due to their age group prior to starting class. First class session will be with owners only, please.

Canine Etiquette I: The Basics of Dog Obedience - 7 weeks long
This class is designed to teach the fundamental skills of dog obedience and help make your pet a more enjoyable, well-mannered companion. Classes will focus on basic skills such as sit, down, stay, come, heel, leash skills and dog-to-dog introductions. This class also offers the added benefit of troubleshooting common problems such as jumping, digging, barking, destructive chewing, etc. All dogs participating in class must be at least 4 months of age and be fully vaccinated prior to starting class. First class session will be with owners only please.

The Well Mannered Canine Club is a refresher group class for training graduates that works with your schedule. You can come as often or as little as you like. Finally a truly flexible training class.
Classes will focus on strengthening and advancing basic skills such as sit and down stays, come, heel, leash skills and dog-to-dog introductions. More advanced work will be done from a distance, and work will be done to strengthen verbal commands. This class also works on retrieving skills, and teaches trick training. All dogs participating in class must have graduated from a prior obedience class, preferably Canine Etiquette I, and be fully vaccinated prior to starting class.
Purchase classes the day of or purchase a punch card and receive 6 sessions (4 sessions + 2 free!). Pre-registration is mandatory to receive to punch card offer. RSVP to this email at least 24 hours prior to class for day-of registration.

Off The Leash: Off-Leash Hiking With Your Dog - 4 weeks long
This class focuses on perfecting off-leash style walking. We will use all our fundamental dog obedience skills to strengthen our ability to hike in an off-leash environment comfortably. All dogs will be on a long line to start to simulate the off-leash experience. Dogs will not be truly off-leash until ready. Classes teach basic components such as good voice control, keeping the line tension free, proper positioning, recall, and eye contact. We start in a relatively low distraction zone and work up to higher dog traffic zones and dog-to-dog introductions. This class also offers the added benefit of troubleshooting common problems such as pulling on the leash, come when called, etc. Each week we will visit new off-leash, rural, trail style locations to advance our level of distraction, the focus of these sessions is advancing our off-leash skills not rigorous exercise. Dogs should be a graduate from Canine Etiquette and be comfortable around other dogs.
